The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) is a national organization that contributes to the life and vitality of the church, family and community, both at home and abroad. The CWL calls its members to grow in faith, and to be witness to the love of God through ministry and service. All Catholic women age 16 and older are most welcome.

The CWL at St Mary Immaculate, Elora began in 1920 and is celebrated our 100-year anniversary. Currently we have 87 members.  As it was also the 100th anniversary of the Canadian CWL, our small community of Elora (and Fergus at the time) were part of the original CWL councils.  That is something we are extremely proud of.

The membership fee for 2023 is $35.00. Membership fees are for the calendar year, but you may join at any time.

The monthly meeting and socials are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month where they discuss many important issues ranging from issues about the league, the many works they do in the community and in the missions, as well as social justice issues.

If you wish to become a member or just want to see what the next meeting offers, please contact Joanne Krueger president or Cindy Mulligan, past president of our CWL. They would love to chat with you anytime.
