The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service organization founded back in 1882 in the United States of America. Today, the organization has grown to support the refugee relief, Catholic education, local parishes and dioceses, and other global Catholic causes.
In Ontario, the Order strives to enhance the spiritual life of its members and their families by promoting initiatives that strengthen ties with all aspects of the Catholic Church and its teachings through an ongoing dedicated support of Church and the clergy.
The membership is composed of practicing Catholic men who come together to promote Catholic causes both locally and internationally. At the moment, members of the Knights of Columbus from St Mary Immaculate, Elora and St Joseph’s in Fergus come together to promote and support the two parishes and other global Catholic causes.
